The Object History works very similar to how a web browser has a history. If you happen to have looked at 3 or 4 different objects while scoping out the scene of an incident and forgot which object you were looking at previously, this is a quick way to see your previously looked at objects within the application. 

Simply tap on any of these to pull up the information OR tap and hold on any of these objects to have your map center on the selected object.
