How to Center the Map and Use Compass Mode

Centering the map will keep the map centered on your location even as you move, keeping north at the top of the map.

Compass mode will keep you centered while rotating the map as you turn keeping what your looking at at the top of the map. 

Center On The Map

To center on the map, tap the map crosshair icon in the bottom left of the map. 

Enable Compass Mode

Compass Mode can be enabled in two ways. One is through enabling turn by turn settings. The other can be done under the Map Navigation tab. Start by opening up the Map Navigation tab. 

Double tap on "Center on my Location" and the map will automatically rotate into compass mode. Please note that if you move the map around with your finger, it will leave compass mode.
