Accessing the GDL Settings 

The GDL (Global Device Locator) allows other units with PublicEye to track your approximate location.

Opening the GDL Settings

To access the GDL, tap the radar icon in the top right of the title bar. 

Turn Your Location On/Off

To turn your beacon on or off,  move the slider next to "Transmit My Location" to either on (green) or off (white).

Change Your GDL Identifier

Your GDL identifier is what other units will see you labeled as. For example, "Engine 22." To rename it, simply tap the text box. 

Save Your GDL Settings

To save your GDL settings, tap "done," which will then close the GDL settings menu.
