Using The Camera Function in PublicEye


The camera function in PublicEye is designed to gather evidence, take photos of scenes, record video, and can even live stream footage. 


Open The Camera Function


To open, simply touch the lens in the title bar to the right of the Sign In/Off button. 


By default, the camera will make a box in the upper left corner under the logo. From here you can drag it anywhere on the screen. To make it bigger/smaller, touch the bottom right corner and drag. 



Choose Capture Mode


To choose which mode to capture in, touch the slider with the three symbols over it. Position one (all the way to left) is to take photos. Position two (the middle) is to record video. Position three (the right) is to live stream (not available for all customers).




Capture Button


To take a photo/video/stream, simply touch the button to the left of the slider. 




Fullscreen


The four arrows to the left of the capture button allows you to full screen the camera function quickly. 




Close the Camera


To close the camera, simply hit the "X" in the top left corner of the camera or touch the lens icon.
