Manually Entering A 911 Call on the PublicEye Server

There may be a time where you need to manually add a 911 call be it for records, training, etc. It is indeed possible to add your own 911 calls.

**Please note as soon as you save the 911 call, it will immediately go live to PublicEye and will stay there until it is switched over to completed manually.

Navigate to the 911 Calls Screen

After logging in with proper credentials, click the "911 Calls" tab. From here you will see all 911 calls in the system.

Adding A 911 Call

In the top right corner of the 911 Calls tab, click "Add." This will bring you to a new menu where you will enter all relevant information to the call.

An address is required (Geocode is highly recommended, as usual) as well as an instance and jurisdiction.

When the call is added, hit "Save" and it will automatically become live on PublicEye

Closing A 911 Call

Once the call is created, it will be live until you "complete" it. To change the status and complete it, click "Edit" on the 911 call. You will see a new option above "Instance" that says "Status." As long as it does not say "Completed," you will see it on your PublicEye. Change it to "completed." It will stay stored, but will not be visually displayed on your jurisdiction's devices.
